(CLEARWATER) Susan Crockett, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Inc., President & CEO and the Ruth Eckerd Hall Board of Directors announced today that Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Grand Reopening Premiere will be held on Friday, November 1 at 6 pm. This exclusive event will be the first unveiling of the completed renovations that began in 2018, which include the new 6,000 square foot Grand Lobby with stunning floor to ceiling windows and is the home of the new Kate Tiedemann and Ellen Cotton Cabaret Theatre featuring the Holt Family Stage and other experience enhancing features. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the education programs at the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Tickets and sponsorships are on sale now.
The theme of the event is The Great Gatsby. Guests will enjoy cocktails in the Grand Lobby followed by a seated dinner and dancing on the Ruth Eckerd Hall stage. Entertainment will include the Jazz Phools and the jazz students of the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall. There will also be a Charleston dance lesson and more. The evening will conclude with a surprise grand finale.
“Ruth Eckerd Hall’s mission has always been centered on providing arts to the community, this breathtaking new space will enhance those experiences for many years to come,” commented Crockett. “On behalf of the Board of Directors and the staff, we are thankful for the tremendous support during the renovation from the City of Clearwater, Pinellas County and the entire Tampa Bay community.”
Major sponsors for the event include Creative Contractors, the City of Clearwater, Clearwater Gas and John & Beth England. Sponsorship opportunities range from $1,000 to $50,000 and includes tables for up to 20 guests. Individual tickets are available at $450 each.
